Rudy Giuliani presents his keynote address before Gov. Palin speaks to the delegation..
What's up Root readers this is Richard Ivory again coming to you from the floor of the Republican Convention. The party ladies and gentlemen is jumping and there is an excitement in this place that's indescribable. First let me just say this "If you didn't know who Sarah Palin was on Monday let there be no doubt by last night you knew. This woman is the real deal and I now know why McCain picked her at first like so many I thought to counter the Obama minority factor…but now I know it was to excite the base and boy is that based excited. It feels like a JZ concert in this place except that it's being done for the AARP…lol. But that's beside the point because Sarah Palin this mother and a fighter rocked this crowd folks… rocked it.
Sarah Palin our nominee for Vice President accepted her nomination for vice president with class and style last night all the while projecting an image of power. Let me tell you guys I had no idea she had it in her, I was hoping that any fight between her and Joe Biden would simply have been that Biden would look bad for beating up on soccer mom. Well after tonight folks make no doubt about it Sarah Palin showed that Joe Biden may have more to worry about then previously assumed. Not only can hang with the big boys but it looks like she can wrestle with them too.
Not only did she put the slap down on Barack Obama but the woman got a little ghetto when she looked in the video to millions and said regarding doubts about her experience: "I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a community organizer, except that you have actual responsibilities." On Obama experience, "It's easy to forget that this is a man who has authored two memoirs but not a single major law or even a reform, not even in the state senate."
And after that slap down she rolled up her sleeves up as if she was from the Bronx and turned to the media which see and many in the crowd see as Obama supporters said: "Now here's a little news flash for those reporters and commentators: I'm not going to Washington to seek their good opinion. I'm going to Washington to serve the people of this great country." But perhaps her best political performance yesterday was in painting Obama as a big government bureaucracy liberal saying: "America needs more energy. Our opponent is against producing it," she said. "Congress spends too much money. He promises more. Taxes are too high, and he wants to raise them" Like I said Root readers this is Richard Ivory reporting for The Root and this GOP Party is off the chain.. I will be posting some pictures before the day is out and trying to provide a behind the scene fell.
Peace Out!
