This Mother's Day, I gave just about every woman on my list a copy of the new Amazon best-seller, Style Statement: Live By Your Own Design. It's a book about fashion, home, how we live style.  But most of all, it's a book about authenticity: how we can be our best selves.

And to me the gift of authenticity, seeing it modeled, feeling that my own authenticity is welcomed, is the best gift of all.  Here are a few of my other favorite gifts to give.

Anything and everything by Carol's Daughter.  As pictured, Mary J. Blige loves the Almond Cookie collection.  I'm especially fond of the shea souffle and anything in the Ocean collection.  But maybe it's just because I haven't gotten to try Groove or Jamaican Punch yet!
