Ibride trays are functional but beautiful enough to be considered a modern heirloom.  How do I love them? Let me count the ways. 

1) They depict beautiful women of color rendered in a lush, dreamy palate like a long forgotten, but impeccably preserved, photograph. 

2) They're not terribly expensive – under $100.  The trays are actually laminate over pressed board so you can use them and not worry constantly about them being destroyed, like say, a tray from Tiffany's. 

3) The company, Ibride is French. And as readers of this blog will soon learn, if they do not know it already, I'm very Josephine Baker in my proclivities. J'adore the French.
